Curriculum Statement
Exploring a wide range of techniques, we will develop our own skills through investigation of culturally diverse artists, designers and craftspeople throughout history. We use materials to create work in 2D, 3D and use ICT whilst always promoting experimentation and originality. We reflect on our own and each other’s pieces, improving and developing ideas as we work. We experiment with visual and tactile elements including colour, line, texture, tone and shape.

Curriculum Statement
Investigating inventions and designs of culturally diverse designers throughout history, we develop our own designs for models. We use tools, materials and techniques safely and with increasing confidence. We make working models and experiment with recipe ingredients; evaluating our own and each other’s products. We learn how to strengthen designs, use ICT, wheels, levers and electricity creatively in our own designs.
