Welcome to the Grove Road Community Primary School Website
I am incredibly proud to be the new Headteacher of Grove Road. On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to Grove Road Community Primary School's website.
Our Curriculum of PRIDE rests firmly on the foundations of our school values and we strive to make sure that every child feels represented throughout their learning journey. Our children have the opportunity to build the foundations of learning that they will take with them through secondary school and beyond, becoming lifelong learners. We have a highly skilled and cohesive staff team who always put our children first and strive for excellence in everything they do. We have a positive, ‘growth mindset’ attitude and adopt a solution-focused approach to overcome obstacles and enable all children and adults to achieve their full potential. We encourage children to be confident, independent learners, who understand that achieving success requires effort, practice and perseverance and that making mistakes is an essential part of the learning process.
We have very high expectations of our pupils with regard to their learning and behaviour and we love celebrating childrens' successes with their families. You can expect conversations in person, Headteacher's awards, Star of the Week certificates, phone calls home and postcards to tell you how proud we are of your children for demonstrating our PRIDE values.
Visitors often comment on the positive atmosphere in the school and particularly how well-behaved, happy, and hard-working our children are. I am immensely proud of what we do here. Grove Road is a wonderfully engaged and diverse community with a real buzz of purposeful activity.
We welcome visitors and feedback. Please contact the school office on 01423 506060 or firstname.lastname@example.org if there's anything that we can do to support you and your children.
